The other day Huck taught me several things about cold and warm blooded animals, and when I asked where he learned it he said from a Magic School Bus book about the Arctic.  I asked if his teacher had read it to the class and he explained, “No!  I read it to myself.”  I remember a day when the cutest thing in the world was the sight of Huck smiling real big with those gigantic cheeks and crazy eyes.  Now it’s him reading a book with a very serious look on his face.
