And now Huck is six years old!  To celebrate we took a trip to the Hall of Science Museum and Chuck E. Cheese and had a very fun birthday party that included science demonstrations by two very unscientific parents, DNA and molecular balloon making, amazing face painting, Pin the Elements on the Periodic Table and nerd-out elements cupcakes.  But most of all we had several days with Aunt Jeni.  It’s going to be hard to kiss it all goodbye come tomorrow morning.  Thank goodness we have an incredible amount of new toys and science experiments to keep us entertained for the next year.

Six years?  It’s true what they say: time flies when you’re having fun.  Happy birthday to my wonderful Huck!

What a nerd-out party!! (Seriously? Pin the element on the periodic chart?! LOVE IT!) What nerd-out cupcakes!(Bravo! You did a much better job than I did with the transgender cookies!) And what a cool 6-year-old. Happy day-after-your-birthday, Huck! Can’t wait to see what the *next* 364 days bring!
