Here are a couple hundred pictures from Huck’s wonderful spring break and almost every celebration known to Schremmers.  Much fun was had celebrating mine and Troy’s rainy 41st birthdays (oh my cheesecake!), many nails were painted at our kitchen table, lots of scooters were ridden (Troy got a grown-up one!), and quite a few amazing science experiments were conducted (including a special morning in the church’s gigantic kitchen where Huck was allowed to make the largest mess possible because Troy was in charge).  There were birthday parties, trips to bookstores, a visit to the beach and the Aquarium, Central Park, a museum and a couple of zoos.  There were lunches at restaurants, card games,  Shirley Temples, cotton candy and Skyping with Aunt Tina and baby cousins Jackson and Rylee.  A lot of the time was spent trying to stay warm in the unseasonably chilly weather until Easter morning, when all of New York got into a good mood again.  What was supposed to be a dreary rainy day turned into a sunny glorious one filled with church and an egg hunt and songs and delicious food and good friends.  As these pictures reveal, the break began at the end of winter with very few leaves on the trees, and by the time Huck returned to school this morning spring had officially arrived!

Thank you, Spring.  You’ve been missed.

What wonderful pictures, and I love how the weather improved by the end of your spring break! Your nails are fabulous, love the new scooter, what are you saying or doing on the park bench that is making your son laugh so hard?, you and Tiffany on the terrace with your chilled white wine is just as I imagined it, and I love love you and Huck’s rain boots!

Whew! I’m out of breath.

xoxo and Happy 41st year of life to the Schremmer couple. So glad you’re the same age again.

Ditto to what Aunt Jeni says! Ditto, I say! Wonderful pictures! I especially love the one with the tulips. Please ask Tiffany where she got that cute top (shirt? Tunic?) where you’re standing on the balcony! Happy Schpring, Schremmers!
