Last Friday was Muscota’s Field Day, so the whole school took a nice long walk up to beautiful Inwood Hill Park for some community gathering that included relay races, ball games, nature walks, jump roping, chalk drawing, Scraptacular crafts (made from recycled objects) and a dance party that showcased Michael Jackson quite nicely.  (Muscota has the best dance parties.)  After a picnic lunch the kindergarteners headed back to school via the grocery store to pick up popsicles, and the party continued in the classroom (thanks to Troy and a guitar) and then in the school yard where the little kids had the place to themselves.

And where Troy beat them all at chess.

Looks like such a fun day!! I’m loving his mowhawk (being as I initially thought his name was Hawk)

What fun! Looks like perfect weather and a great group of kids. Michael Jackson dance party? Now that is my kind of school. And congrats to Pappy T…next he should take on the 1st grade class.
