And then we ended our visit with a Hottman family gathering near Kansas City where we enjoyed one final water park (did we mention it was hot?), played lots and lots of wii (Troy and Nathan are very talented), had many manicures and pedicures (Huck loves having so many girl cousins), swam in the hotel pool (and fought over Aunt Jeni), giggled over the cuteness that is Miss Sadie Starr and big boy Hayden (ridiculous!), giggled on the driveway (Steve’s bike!), and celebrated my dad’s 70th birthday with an amazing cake made by my niece Megan (look at that golf ball!) and a hilarious book of terrible photos of our children made by my sister Lori (oh, the awkwardness).  Before we headed back to New York we made a stop off at my childhood best friend Krishna’s home where we were greeted with … more food.

We’re a fasting family now.  (Sorry, Huck.)
