I’ll be honest with you: New York’s both a wonderful and a difficult place to live sometimes, and we Schremmers find ourselves daydreaming about living somewhere different more and more lately. (Oh to have a house and a yard …) Thankfully, a day at the ocean like we had last Friday rekindles our love affair with New York City and gives us the strength to face another bonkers day. We had the beach almost to ourselves, except for a bunch of baby clams that Huck collected in his bucket and a sting ray that Troy kept spotting in the water. And while it took us two hours to get home on a very loud, crowded subway, those heavenly hours made it all worth it!

What sweet times!!! i often think about being closer to ocean. It is such an amazing site. Guess it helps me appreciate it when i do get to see it. Glad you guys had so much fun. Huck is so skinny…. does he need to come back to kansas for awhile. he must have swam off all he ate at our house and other folks…
I wanna go to the beach EVERY day!
And you drank coffee on the beach! I love it! SO nice to be near the ocean…and I know Huck is happy whenever he can wear those blue goggles!!
You BET you can drink coffee on the beach!!! YEAH!!! I wish this ocean were right here right now. And I wish it would somehow be located above us, and suddenly pour down on us. It is hot. Lordy. Thankfully, I’m in a computer lab waiting for my final. There’s no better way to prep for a final than looking at the Schremmer blog!!!! That family photo at the bottom is one of me faves, ever …
Love the pictures. I miss the ocean so much. Sometimes I fantacize driving to the ocean and sitting there staring off for hours and hours. Ahhhhh. Fantasy.
It looks great, though your ocean should be on the left not the right. I think you are in the wrong ocean. Come visit ours.
